Description
Van Winden's Garden Center opened in 1953 and offers close to 300 varieties of roses, a mini-forest of Japanese maple and other trees, rows of annual and perennial bedding plants, vegetable starts, and a 3000 sq.ft. greenhouse packed with houseplants. There is also statuary, pottery, outdoor furniture, a range of gardening accessories, and a gift shop filled with gifts and home décor. The impressive collection makes for not only a great shopping experience, but also a peaceful afternoon stroll.
Special Instructions
Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 10, 2023, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Note that we will automatically mail gift cards and gift certificates for free -- no need to pick those up.)
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped on or around Tuesday, February 7, 2023, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Gift cards and gift certificates ship for free.) Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 6, 2023, if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
