Since its highly anticipated opening in July 2010, Harbor Shores has quickly become a premier destination for golfers throughout the Midwest. Before the course had even opened to the public, Harbor Shores was chosen to host one of golf’s premier events – The KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. This major championship, known for its intense competition among the legendary names in golf, made its home at Harbor Shores in 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2018; the Championship was canceled in 2020 but will return in 2022 & 2024. Harbor Shores is the ONLY Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on Lake Michigan.

The course runs over four remarkably diverse terrains that challenges golfers even as it offers a spectacular setting in which to play. The beginning holes, 1-6, are in the Inland terrain. Holes 7, 8, and 9 are in a Dunes terrain with dramatic views of Lake Michigan. Holes 10-13 are in our Woodlands terrains, which wind through rolling hills, ravines and hardwood forest. The finishing holes 14-18 are placed in a River terrain which border the Paw Paw River, Ox Creek and its wetlands.
