Butterfly Garden at home! Have you seen the newly installed native habitat butterfly garden on the south side of Stone Academy?

Have you always wanted a native butterfly garden of your own? This is your chance to get started on your own butterfly habitat! This package, generously donated by Prairie Friends who supplied many of the plants for the Stone butterfly garden, includes 50 native plants, of a variety you can choose. You'll also receive a one-hour installation consultation with our very own Stone Garden Committee Lead.

Prairie Friends grows indigenous native plant species directly from seed. We source seeds from the Upper Midwest as well as gathering them locally for germination. Our plants represent the original species which have co-evolved with prairie insects over the past 12,000 years. They are not cloned, started from cuttings or grown as native cultivars (also known as 'nativars'). The perennials we help bring to life are as authentic as they are enduring.

Plants will be ready for pick-up/delivery in June 2023.
