Sophie is a French native and a former top 60 tennis player in singles & doubles on the Women's Tennis Association tour (WTA). Her career highlight was reaching the 1980 doubles ¼ finals at the Australian Open followed by another ¼ final this time in singles at the 1984 Australian Open against Chris Evert. Sophie played for 15 years on the WTA Tour, participating in all Four Majors, and was coaehed by Billie Jean King.

Since her retirement from the professional tennis tour Sophie has had the opportunity to serve the sport and her passion for the game by coaching hundreds of players of all ages and skill lcvels. She has earned her Eliite Tennis Professional Teaching certification through the USPT A and is a Level II ITPT A Pickleball Professional.
