 A distinguished group of whiskey enthusiasts gathered on a beautiful June evening at Boston Harbor Distillery for the all important cask selection of what will become Temple Israel Five Chai Putnam Rye Whiskey at 90 Proof.

They carefully reviewed the features and benefits of five different casks and in the end expertly chose a three year old rye aged in South Carolina American White Oak from barrel #18-0049 currently resting at 125 proof.
