Set of 4 seasonal volumes of Thoreau's Journal, from the larger set of Thoreau's Writings, the Concord Edition. These journal volumes were edited by H. G. O. Blake. All are in light blue cloth hardcover with tan paper title blocks on spines. Each one is only slightly aged and is in good condition. Each volume has postage stamps decorating the inside covers, which may have been the work of former owner, Elliott S. Allison, whose signature also appears on the front flyleaves. A nice set, if you don't already have one.
