OwlFred is a one of a kind hand raised vessel using a 6" round disc of 18 ga flat sheet of copper with a .999 fine silver rim soldered to the top.  This detail is done using an acient process called Uchidashi chasing and repousse.  This is done using highly specialized small punches with mirror polished surfaces.  Owl Fred took almost a month to complete.  By local artist Doug Shemenski.
