The Two Gentlemen of Verona, thought to be one of Shakespeare’s earlier comedies, plants many of the seeds that grow to full bloom in later plays: two young men vying for the love of the same woman, a young lover’s betrayal, a woman disguising herself as a man, a comic outlaw band in a forest, servant clowns and…a dog. A fun and entertaining adventure for all.

KING LEAR
July 21-23, 28-30 and August 4-6, 2023

King Lear, an aging pagan king of ancient Briton, divides his kingdom among his two daughters who express their love for him, and banishes the third who is less flattering to him. His eldest daughters both then reject him. The story follows with Lear descending into madness losing his throne, being imprisoned, and dying broken-hearted.
