4th graders used science this year to create a beautiful piece of art that represent's PDS's signature colors of green and gold. Our science experiment consisted of mixing various batches of green coloring. Each batch had a varying amount of dye, water, and soap. Students were bale to pick which batches their popsicle sticks went into and had them cure for approximately 1 hour. The gold popsicle sticks were hand-painted by one of the 4th grade teachers.

Students greatly enjoyed participating in the experience and were amazed by the finished product. Some even stated they hope their parents bid on it! :)
