Item Number: 149
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Lower School families are invited to join us for a family-focused private tour and play date at the Oakland Museum of California!
Our group will first enjoy a special art exhibit called "Into the Brightness." In collaboration with three profound Bay Area institutions, Into the Brightness: Artists from Creativity Explored, Creative Growth, & NIAD celebrates myriad works from contemporary artists with developmental disabilities. From painting to sculpture to multimedia, these world-renowned artists are producing work of incredible power, exuberance, humor, complexity, and joy.
The group will then tour the History of California gallery, followed by open playtime in the OMCA KidsSpace gallery.
Kids LOVE a museum space with friends, and you'll never have such a fun and easy time entertaining them, while also seeing and learning something new.
Attendess may continue the social time with an informal potluck picnic after the tour, in the museum gardens.
Tour at 11:30 am, followed by a potluck picnic at the Museum Garden from 1-2 pm.
Each ticket is good for an adult, and any number of kids under 12.
