Description
For a small town, Concord has a big history. From the “shot heard round the world”, to the writers of the American literary renaissance, things have happened here, words have been spoken here, and books have been written here that changed the face of a nation.
The Concord Museum is home to one of the oldest collection of historical, literary, and decorative arts treasures in the country, including one of the famous Paul Revere lanterns; personal objects owned by Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Ermerson; artifacts from the American Revolution; and more.
Special Instructions
The Museum is open 10 am to 4 pm Thursday through Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome. Passes are not valid during special events. Expires January 2024.
