Description
Doctors of Osteopathy (DOs) are fully licensed physicians who also receive extensive training in the interrelationship of the bodyÂÂs structure (anatomy) and function (physiology). Osteopathic treatments gently balance the relationships between bones, ligaments, muscles and fasciae to promote each patient's innate, self-healing process. Patients typically experience relaxation and subtle shifts in their alignment, either during and/or after the treatment. Conditions helped by osteopathic treatment include: low back pain, neck pain, joint pain, migraine, TMJ dysfunction, plantar fasciitis.
