Ranked #9 by Golf Digest list of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses, Fishers Island is the design of architect Seth Raynor, who died in early 1926, before the course had officially opened. Fishers Island Club is set romantically on a narrow island that is a mere two miles wide and eight miles long. The island sits between the National Estuary of the Long Island Sound and a series of lake and ponds.
