Description
Late civil rights lawyer Dennis Cunningham, one of the founders of The People's Law Office, was also a sculptor! He and his family self-published this amazing book with photographs of his work. From the book:
Dennis Cunningham's sculptures emerge from a twenty-plus-year practice of work with found materials and an abiding interest in improvisatory compositional techniques. His affinities range from the playfully destructive machines of Jean Tinguely to the scavenged car-parts of John Chamberlain, and owe something to the moods and rhythms of bebop.
There aren't too many of these books around so don't miss your chance to own one! You can see his charming work and get a little insight into the mind of an artist and freedom-fighting lawyer.
