This exclusive Sunridge Auction Safari is designed by a local Sunridge Family! Africa lover and expert, Caitlin Carter moved to our community from Cape Town bringing Saskia (4th) and Isaac (2nd) to our school. Caitlin has designed safaris as a career since 2000 and lived over a decade in southern Africa. Designing this trip as an entré into the most magnificent country, South Africa you will explore the "Mother City" of Cape Town where nature means urban sophistication set in the most spectacular setting at the intersection of the Indian and Atlantic
Oceans. Explore its incredibly colorful neighborhoods and surrounding villages - as the Carters can attest, it is truly a magical place. Then, continue on safari to the legendary Kruger National Park, South Africa's most famous safari area. Stay in one of the private concessions surrounding the park (contiguous with the huge park) to give you access to extraordinary wildlife sightings in a low-density tourism environment. Expect the Big 5 and more!
The Carters (especially Caitlin!) will prepare you for the trip and add personal experience and care to the planning and guide you on all flights, and additional nights (if desired) to make this truly a trip of a lifetime. Grab your friends, add your kids, extend the trip...it's all possible.

What's included: Breakfasts in Cape Town, All airport transfers, Full-day guided city tour with Robben Island visit, All meals on safari, House drinks while on safari, All safari activities, Conservancy fees, Laundry on safari, and Wi-fi at each property
What's excluded: International flights, Regional Flights (Cape Town - Hoedspruit return), Gratuities, Any optional additional nights, Any optional additional activities in Cape Town, Travel insurance (optional), and any additional travelers

Special Instructions
Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, the certificate will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense. Certificate will be mailed with insurance via USPS first class mail. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.
For planning, note that the pick-up days are Wed, April 5th, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 pm, and Thursday, April 6th, 2023 from 12:40-3:00pm at SunRidge School in Sebastopol, California.
All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
SunRidge School is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping and/or mailing.
