Parts of the house date back to the 16th century and it is a listed building in a quiet conservation area of the village.  There are glorious views from your balcony over the 13th century Parish Church and into the hills beyond.

Kimpton is located 30 minutes by car from the historic Cathedral city of St. Albans, and from there it is a 30 minute train ride to the centre of London.  Cambridge is under an hour away by car, Oxford under 2 hours, and the east coast under 3 hours.
