STATEMENT

My work engages the timelessness of gathered symbols and archetypes from poems, fairy tales, and historical paintings. Entwined with the language of gesture, figures are wreathed in lacy shells, flora, and organic patterns. Both fragile and strong, they are overgrown by and composed of the landscape.
