A crescent shaped dendritic opal is set by a simple bezel to allow the stone to speak for itself, setting the scene of winter's barren branches covered from heaps of yesterday's fallen snow. Alongside the moon are hand stamped details of snow, as well as hand sawed tree branches and stars from the night sky, mimicking this winter scene within the dendritic opal. The back of the piece has a cut out of a crescent moon with engraving details, as well as the designer's initials (AY) and 925 (sterling silver) hand stamped onto a hand sawed heart. The entire necklace hangs about 20.5 cm from a double cable chain, and the widest part of the pendant measures about 2.3 cm. Lobster clasp with dangling crescent moon charm.
