Description
Artist Shepard Fairey is most known for creating the iconic Obama HOPE image. In Obama's inaugural address he said he'd like to adopt 'a mutt like me.' Hearing this, animal advocate, Pia Salk, immediately contacted the artist to ask if he might be willing to create an ADOPT image to lend exposure to the millions of shelter pets in need of forever homes. Shepard was all for the idea and gladly created the image for Adopt-a-Pet.com.
The 400 signed and numbered prints sold out in under 2 hours! The prints are now hard to find and of great value. Shepard Fairey liked the idea of an ADOPT image so much that he voluntarily created the ADOPT t-shirt to raise further funds for shelter animals. Get a piece of history and show your support for shelter animals with these 2 items.
