Description

Mettler Family Vineyard Wines:  1 bottle each:

  • Estate Grown 2018 Pinotage Red - Rich and Intense Dark and rich, this wine offers up aromas of cherries and ripe berries on the nose with a touch of smoky oak. Medium-full bodied and fruit-focused, it’s brimming with flavors of black cherry, rich plum, warm spice with a balancing earthiness. A lush mouthfeel is balanced by nice acidity and moderate tannins.

  • 2019 "Epicenter" Old Vine Zinfandel The 2019 Mettler "Epicenter" Old Vine Zinfandel tempts with its intense aromas of ripe wild blueberry and a hint of black pepper. The sturdy but softly integrated tannins yield to subtle notes of vanilla and cedar as the wine lingers on your palate. A light touch of acidity creates a balance while retaining the juicy fruit forward personality that is uniquely Zinfandel. Wine Enthusiast Editors' Choice Award (93 Points)

At Mettler Family Vineyards we are dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality. Our uncompromising commitment to excellence, both in our vineyards, and wine production enable us to create well-balanced wines with fruit-forward flavors, excellent structure and aging potential.

Our family has been farming wine grapes in the Lodi Appellation since the late 1800s. As one of Lodi’s oldest farming families, we take a lot of pride in farming our vineyards both organically and sustainably. Integrity for the land along with responsible farming practices ensures that our wine grapes are of the highest quality for our wines. Our family is involved from the vineyard to the bottle; growing, harvesting, trucking, winemaking and sales.
