Favorite Place Mixed Mediums Picture

Third graders took a long look at the work of David Hockney who often uses texture, pattern and imaginary color to represent the world around him. We decided which place in our lives we would represent, then began to use oil pastels, color pencils, collage and acrylic paint to depict them with as much color and pattern as possible. The last step was to add even more texture and detail with paint pens.
