Description

Focused on Moab and the greater southwest region, Carol Delaney's beautiful paintings capture movement, evoke mystery and surprise, and highlight the wonders of the natural world.

Using a process called gicleé on photo satin paper to reproduce her artwork, Carol is able to capture the intricate color details of her original paintings far better than via the standard 4-color separation process.

An interview with Moab Happenings notes: "Carol spent her first year in Moab connecting with the land and the rocks. She felt that with all the reproductions of petroglyph art she had encountered, nothing had made her ‘feel’ them. Her aim was to bring in that feeling of aliveness, a sense of playfulness, and an honoring of the sacredness of these symbols." 'Kiva' feels like an ode to this connection.

This print is 'Small' size (14.5"x10") and can be shipped.

In 2021, Carol Delaney donated a large portion of her reprinted collection to the Youth Garden Project to support garden-based education. We are grateful and honored to be able to share her work with you all.
