This traditional Dutch handhoe is used for weeding and loosening soil in your border, raised beds, and containers. You place the weeder away from you on the soil, then by pulling the weeder towards you the blade goes below surface and cuts through the soil, cutting the roots of the weeds. Once the roots of the weeds are cut, they will stop growing. This is a left handed hoe.
