Bio of the Artist:

Jesse Begenyi, LICSW, is a white, non-binary identified independently licensed social worker and therapist who works primarily with queer and trans folks. Jesse works part time in private practice and part time with the The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth. Outside of work, Jesse loves to roller skate and is a lead organizer for a local skate group called the Skate Hags, whose goal is bringing together and building community in the Boston area for skaters of all kinds. Additionally, Jesse has a small side business called Hiss Off Designs where they hand make shirts, denim vests, jewelry, and other accessories. 

After learning more about the organization, Jesse felt a strong desire to donate a vest for the silent auction to help raise money for the inclusive and empowering work that Girls’ Leap engages in.
