Hillary graduated from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Bloomfield, NJ with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture in 2016, and in early 2017 she opened her practice within Salt of the Earth Center for Healing in Chestnut Ridge, NY. In 2019 she achieved nationally board-certified status as a Diplomate of Acupuncture with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

As a holistic practitioner, her approach reflects a belief in, and understanding of, the powerful interconnection of body, mind and spirit. Her aim is to facilitate your return to improved health and wellbeing by addressing imbalance as it manifests at any phase of this continuum. When the source of imbalance can be correctly identified and resolved, good health and even mind will prevail. She delights in getting to the root of the problem and connecting the dots.

Guided by the time-tested wisdom of Chinese medicine, she creates a customized treatment plan for every patient; one that empowers each’s own capacity for self-healing, but more importantly one that meets each person where they are.

Her method is derived from a Japanese lineage that is both notably gentle and highly effective. Each session is customized to meet the present needs of the patient on the day of treatment and incorporates various complementary healing modalities such as therapeutic bodywork, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion.
