A 30-minute Zoom author visit with Agatha Rodi includes a read-aloud of her book A YOUNG KIMOLISTAS, with a Q&A afterwards. The book was written by Agatha Rodi, illustrated by Mateya Arkova, and published by WEAVING WAVES PUBLICATIONS -GREECE, to support KIMOLISTES ngo. The book presents the Cycladic island of Greece, Kimolos referring to Greek tradition, the environment, and the open-air cinema CineKalisperitis. Agatha Rodi was born in Patras, Greece. She’s an educator, writer, storyteller, and translator. Being the Policy Maker of the «Kimolistes Ngo», she organizes the «Story Telling Waves»Workshops, under the auspices of the Hellenic Tourism Organization, related to the environment, Kimolian flora and fauna, and the island’s unique tradition. Kimolistes ngo has received many awards thanks to her proposals. As partner and coordinator of the ERASMUS + project, “Islands-One Community” she collaborates with other 4 European countries having the goal to safeguard the cultural heritage of Kimolos’ Island, through storytelling in combination with Sustainable Development launching the project from Kimolos Aegean Island.
