Justin Wonnacott was born in 1950 and moved to Ottawa in 1974. He is a photographer, teacher and writer. He undertakes long term photographic projects based on the still life, landscape, street photography and photographs of public art. He has a long exhibition history in Canada and many national, provincial and municipal institutions collect his work. He is a member of the RCA and is a part time professor with the University of Ottawa Department of Fine Arts. He will travel to Japan for a new project in 2023.
Justin Wonnacott est né en 1950 et s’installe à Ottawa en 1974. Il est photographe, enseignant et écrivain. Il entreprend des projets photographiques à long terme basés sur la nature morte, le paysage, la photographie de rue et les photographies d’art public. Il expose depuis longtemps au Canada et de nombreuses institutions nationales, provinciales et municipales collectionnent ses œuvres. Il est membre du RCA et enseigne à temps partiel au département des beaux-arts de l’Université d’Ottawa. Il se rendra au Japon pour un nouveau projet en 2023.
