I am inspired of natural shapes that I use as a reference for my abstraction. I am interested in the capacity that humanity has to synthesize natural phenomena into visual abstractions like sound to words to letters or number.

Guillermo Trejo is a Mexican/Canadian Artist based in Ottawa, Ontario. He completed his BFA at the National School of Painting Sculpture and Engraving in Mexico City with a specialization in printmaking and an MFA from the University of Ottawa, he is an active member of the artistic community. His works have been showed at the Ottawa Art Gallery, Cambridge Art Gallery, Axneo7 and the Quebec Triennale.
Guillermo Trejo est un artiste canado-mexicain installé à Ottawa, en Ontario. Il a obtenu son baccalauréat en beaux-arts de l’École nationale de peinture, de sculpture et de gravure de Mexico, avec une spécialisation en gravure, ainsi qu’une maîtrise en arts visuels de l’Université d’Ottawa. Il est un membre actif de la communauté artistique. Ses œuvres ont été exposées à la Galerie d’art d’Ottawa, à la Cambridge Art Gallery, à AXENÉO7 et à la Triennale de Québec.
