Description
(See "In memory of" in "Of Special Note" below. Also please see Note on condition at bottom of this listing). "Discoveries Unlimited" designed and constructed coveted necklaces in the 1970s+. They frequently sold to Saks Fifth Avenue NYC and got mention in the NY Times. A lovely 7-strand necklace on silver Nepalese clasps, this piece is made to be worn twisted. The label says "Serpentine Jade" however, serpentine and jade are different stones so possibly it is a mix of the two (?) In daylight it has very subtle greens to almost "greys." In darker light, it appears to me as lighter greys. End to end (including clasps) this is approximately 17.5-18" long. When twisted, as meant to be, it can be shorter to your liking. NOTE: Since these pieces were strung in the '70s or '80s they may need to be restrung. Restringing will be up to the buyer. I have taken this into account with the pricing- as their pieces used to sell for significantly higher prices.
