Pickup Only (see "Of Special Note" below) Original Signed and dated (1984) R.C. Gorman Presentation Proof (PP) "Ladle Maker." (A Presentation Proof comes before the numbered edition and is of equal quality and considered by some to be of more value as it is rarer. It is often given by the artist to a special person). "Ladle Maker" is stunning. It was printed using stone and plates and has 42 overlays of color upon color. The detail is impressive. Framed in dark wood with a plum burlap matte to accentuate the tones of the piece, the PP itself is approximately 33x24.75 inches. With the frame it is about 44.5x37 inches. An outstanding piece, "Ladle Maker" comes with its Certificate of Authenticity and other info.
Special Instructions
Love this but love NMDR adoptee infinitely and want to give back. PICKUP by winner near Littleton, CO or about 45 minutes N,S, or E by arrangement. CONDITION: PP is in excellent condition. Frame and related have: 1. Frame has several small nicks, 2. Glass has some surface scratches visible in some lighting conditions, 3. Paper backing to frame (which does not affect the PP itself) has a tear and is taped.
