FOUND FORAGED INKED DYED
Hannah Cloud Sharpless is an artist residing on the North Shore of Boston who forages materials to create her own natural dyes for painting. This original 18x24 framed natural color painting features dyes from fermented punctelia lichen, copper verdigris, privet berry, indigo, sumac, buckthorn, and iron rust. White drawing ink was also used.

Hannah uses natural, locally foraged, botanical inks, dyes, and mineral pigments to create abstract paintings and hand dyed textiles and jewelry. She loves combining her love for hiking (usually with her dogs) and exploring nature with her art and photography practice and is always seeing, learning, and understanding things in new ways as a result.
