She formerly was staff photographer with the Associated Press, Sacramento Bee and Virginian-Pilot.  A three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee, Lois’ work has appeared in many international publications from Life Magazine to the New York Times.

This photo and other work by Lois can be seen at Northfield Village hall 361 N. Happ Rd. for the months of May and June 2023. Village hall open from 8-4:30 M-F. There will be a formal opening on May 16th from 5-7.
