Artist Statement:
I am using epoxy resin and beautiful mica powder pigments to decorate my whale. You will also find Atlantic beach sand incorporated into the resin. Once finished, my whale will have multiple layers of resin and 3D waves crashing. There will also be a surprise added later. The name of my whale is "Swimming with Friends".
Artist Biography:
I started the Sea By Me four years ago as a way to continue my own artistic endeavors. I have a bachelors of fine arts degree in Illustration from Southeastern Mass University (now The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth).

Pickup of whales will be arranged for each whale purchaser. Shipping is available at cost of $200 for packing and shipping.
If winning bidder has not picked up their whale within 30 days after the close of the auction, it will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
