Artist Statement:
Tammy Picone Nohelty is an artist whose work is inspired by the domestic discourse of everyday life. She creates mixed media artworks using paintings and collages that establish a unique connection between reality and the imagined world. Tammy thoughtfully explores the concept of visual art and engages the tradition of expressive art in her daily practice. One of her playful and whimsical pieces is Domestic Dissonance. The artwork captures a delightful and humorous glimpse of home, portraying the unpredictable happenings of everyday life. Tammy's art reflects her keen observation and imaginative interpretation of domestic discourse, making her a compelling artist to watch.
Artist Biography:
Tammy Picone Nohelty is an accomplished artist currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Interdisciplinary Studies at Massachusetts College of Art. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from Montserrat College of Art, Tammy has developed a passion for interdisciplinary creativity and has become a talented painter. Before her current pursuits, Tammy served on the staff at Montserrat College of Art, working as Registrar, Coordinator of Special Student Services, and a member of the Continuing Education Faculty. She has also taught alternative photographic methods at various institutions, including the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Marblehead Arts Association, and the young artists' program at Montserrat College of Art. Tammy's extensive experience as a visual art teacher in the Marblehead Public Schools has given her a deep understanding of arts education. However, her current work in studio painting truly showcases Tammy's artistic talent and creative vision.

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 9 from 12-3, July 10 from 3-6, and July 11 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sothebys 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or arranged shipping) within 30 days after the close of the auction, it will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
