Artist Statement:
My goal is for this whale to capture the essence of a real whale swimming near the surface of the ocean. Its dynamic and fluid form, combined with its stunning colors, transporting the viewer to a world of wonder and awe, where the majesty of nature is on full display.
Artist Biography:
Michelle Brown is the 2022 Marblehead Festival of Arts logo winner, and has been working full-time as an artist in Marblehead for five years, painting and designing clothing from her artwork in her Washington Street Studio. She won the Best of Northshore award from Northshore Magazine for her yoga apparel in 2022.
