John Flynn started in Nashville working as a songwriter for hire, but quickly decided he wanted to sing his own songs and has been doing that on stages across the United States and Canada for over 45 years A mainstay performer at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, John most recently served as Festival host/emcee, honoring the legacy of the late Gene Shay who called John, the most quintessential folk singer in my life. For 60 to 75 minutes John will need nothing more than his guitar, his voice and his heart to captivate your audience, move you and make you think.
