Artist: Katie Nunheimer

Katie grew up in West Barnstable with her mother, father and two siblings. Since she was a child she has always been infatuated with everything art; from clay to sketching to painting, she wanted to do it all. As she grew older, she started honing in on painting. Now, at 23, she has found her love of brush strokes and neutrals, which she dedicates to her late Grandfather. Her full time job is with Kinlin Grover Compass doing real estate, but in her spare time, she paints murals, canvases, and sweatshirts. “I’m blessed to be able to do everything that I truly love in a life that goes by so fast.” She says; this feeling is what created her Art Page name: Meraki Designs. Meraki means: when you leave a piece of your soul, creativity and love into what you do.
