Artist: Brandyn Bassett - Airtech Inc

Brandyn Bassett, a Chatham Native, is a skilled metal fabricator. For the past 20 years he and his father have been doing most of their work on high end homes from Provincetown to Falmouth. Copper roofs, ornate chimney caps, and copper gutters are just some of the examples of his work. Brandyn was convinced by his wife of almost 20 years to try his hand in creating a whale for her business this year and Penny the whale was born. Every copper diamond was hand cut and the copper edge was hand formed. Penny the whale is sealed with durable resin and would be a fun addition to your home inside or out. One fun fact is that Penny the whale eye is a 2023 dime.
