We are inspired in what we do by the work of MIT Media Lab Professor Mitchell Resnick. Dr. Resnick argues that in the future, the world will need more designers, thinkers, and innovators. And to meet that challenge, Dr. Resnick says, we need a learning environment centered around the 4 P's - projects, passion, peers, and play.

That is exactly what we do at Genius Gems. Our classes and camps feature a STEM and STEAM-focused curriculum developed by an experienced educator. So there is always something being invented, discovered or created in our space.
That is why magnetic tiles are often at the center of what we do. Magnetic tiles have an amazing ability to spark the imagination of people of every age and background.

Above all, we love that that everyone, from dads and daughters, to brothers and sisters, can all enjoy magnetic tiles together. Celebrating that togetherness, and embracing that diversity, is in the very nature of what we do.

The Center for Performing Arts and Dance: Child Dance Package

This auction item includes 3 dance classes for ages 4-7 at the Center for Performing Arts & Dance. 

You can find the Center for Performing Arts and Dance just steps from Madison Sq. Park and the landmark Flatiron building.

Center for PAD creates a fun and loving atmosphere. We believe in building strong self-esteem and inspiring the talent within you at an early age, which will carry over to the strong development of a child’s character in all aspects of their life.

90-minute Princess Play Session at Let's Dress Up!

Princess Play is a 90 minute structured playtime. Children choose from our wide selection of princess and glamour dresses. Select matching jewelry and accessories, get a little make-up done, take a photo and then sit down to a seasonal or themed tea party. After tea, they will hear a story and color. The last 10 minutes is allotted for transition time (also known as a dance party). They also leave with a printed picture in dress up.

Drop off is optional for children who are over 3 and potty trained. Due to limited space, we ask that only one adult accompany each child. We recommend that girls wear a tank top and shorts underneath clothing to facilitate dress up. 

Please note, that because we make many royal preparations for your visit, unfortunately you cannot simply drop into our castle. Please see our upcoming schedule and register in advance.
