About the artist: Larry Folding, American, studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, and lives and works in Cape Cod, MA. He sold his first painting in 1974. He enjoys plein air painting, has always worked in watercolor, and claims they require “more than artistic ability…requires more thinking up front. The paint runs, and it dries quickly…the artist has to think and react fast to how the painting is evolving.” Larry teaches and conducts watercolor workshops, and his work can be found at The Art Gallery of The Guild of Harwich Artists, Harwich Port, MA.
