About the artist: Carolyn Arcabascio is a Laconia-based illustrator for books, games, and magazines. She particularly enjoys creating work for outlets that celebrate and advocate for the natural world, such as Northern Woodlands Magazine, The Archaeological Conservancy, and The Sierra Club. 

Carolyn finds endless inspiration from the student artists of Lakes Region Community College, where she serves as an instructor in the Design and Art programs.
