Virtual Pizza-Making Experience good for one household with Pizza School.
Pizza School NYC’s VIRTUAL PIZZA-MAKING CLASS is perfect for both beginners and practicing pizza-makers.
Friends/families/groups/couples are all welcome to attend.
With even basic equipment (a baking sheet) or extra credit gear (a pizza stone, peel etc. — and we’ll go over all the options in class) we’ll take you step-by-step through the process of crafting incredible pizza from scratch in your home kitchen.
Our Virtual Class meets online via Zoom (a link will be sent to your email address 15 minutes before class) and is 2.5 hours long with a focus on hands-on participation. Classes are kept small for maximum interaction with your instructors and other students.
Age Requirements
To attend Pizza School NYC at this time, individuals must be:
• Ages 10 and up only
• Children ages 10-16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating
• All in attendance must have a ticket

• perfect dough — we’ll make a quick rise dough together in class and talk about longer rises, fermentation, and answer any and all of your pizza-geek questions
• the secrets of the sauce — demystifying supermarket varieties versus San Marzanos
• how to make homemade sauce way better than pre-prepared store varieties and at a fraction of the cost
• stretching techniques for forming the perfect crust — and how to throw dough like a pro.
• choosing the best cheese for your pizza— from different kinds of mozzarella to many other marvelous melters
• all about ingredients — where to source them + proper balance, order and proportions when applying toppings
• getting the most out of your home oven — plus pizzeria and wood fired oven wisdom.
