Tan and earth tones ceramic plate and bowl by Earthloam Studio. The 12” diameter plate and 10” diameter bowl were created in her Portland studio by artist Isabelle Soulé. The two pieces can be used together or separately. They are food grade. 

In Isabelle's own beautiful words: "My pots are being created during an era of frenzied activity, visual and auditory commotion, and expectations for productivity that may exceed human capacity. For these very reasons, I keep them simple. In their simplicity, I hope to convey a sense of quiet and nourishment for body and spirit.

Clay is an ancient art and I have worked alongside clay artists in Mexico, Ghana, Norway, Thailand, Japan, Uganda, Rwanda, Italy and Germany. I often take my own clay work to leave as gifts and I love the idea of my clay pots gracing the kitchens and homes of people and families around the world."
