About the artist

As a child, Jean Claude Dhien grew up in the shadows and beauty of the French Alps.

As serene and straightforward of a life as it was, ‘JC’ yearned to explore the world beyond his quaint village.

At age four, Jean Claude got his first camera. It was a Indo Impera 4x4, and it illuminated a new perspective on his surroundings.

Jean Claude has come a long way since his days winding the knob of that Impera.

He has been based out of London, New York, and Los Angeles, where he was fortunate enough to meet and photograph many of the most fascinating people and leaders of our time.

Through his work as a preeminent photographer, Jean Claude has developed an incredible capacity to capture compelling, provocative and soulful images of his subjects by utilizing unique locations, lighting, and styling. His work has incorporated a wide variety of subjects and locations.
