Description

In 1980, President Carter issued a Presidential Message asking the American people to pause and remember the contributions of American women during the week of March 2 -8, 1980.

Working with the Santa Rosa Junior College's art department, the newly formed National Women's History Project had 100 copies of the 1980 National Women's History Week poster silkscreened in bright blue with red lettering on a yellow matted background.  17.5" x 24.5"

The image was from the "Uprising of the 20,000" in remembrance of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire of 1911.

This is one of the five remaining.
