Description
Pair of copper candle sticks
Handmade Copper Tom Thumb candle sticks. Made in 1944 at the Portsmouth, NH Navy Yard from the copper wire left from munitions made there. These show a little age but are very thick, sturdy copper.
I haven’t been able to find any design like this. Sculptured finger hold and handle. The trunk of coils was designed by my grandfather. Truly unique with a real New England Flare. The place where the candle goes has some generations of wax, so today’s candles stay in well! Will never tip over! Lovely addition to either an informal or formal table.
One of a kind- Size 4” diameter, 3” high.
