Wedgwood 1936 Harvard Tercentenary Demitasse Cup & Saucer, 1936
Set of 10 -


            This beautiful demitasse cup and saucer set in the Wedgwood “Harvard” pattern, made to commemorate the tercentenary of Harvard University,  marked 1636-1936.


The cup stands 2 3/8 inches tall and the saucer measures 4 7/8 inches in diameter. Both pieces are marked “Harvard Tercentenary Wedgwood Etruria England” and “Jones McDuffee & Stratton Co. Boston.” In very good condition


            Each cup represents one of these buildings:
Holden Chapel 1744,
Sever Hall 1880,
Boylston Hall 1857,
Holworthy Hall 1812,
Hemenway Gymnasium 1878,
Memorial Church 1932,
The Old College 1638,
The First Gore Hall 1838,
University Hall 1815.
