Description

Take a customized walking tour for 6 of Downtown Los Angeles's unique architecture with experienced docent John G Kurtz. 


The adventure will include many iconic buildings such as Bradbury Building, Biltmore Hotel, Pac Mutual Building, One Bunker Hill, LA Central Library, Fine Arts Building, as well as more current landmarks in the LA architecture scene.  Sights will be exterior tours and depending on timing and dates, historic interiors included when possible. End in the Grand Market Central for lunch!


John G Kurtz is a dedicated Frank Llyod Wright enthusiast, author, historian, instructor, and docent with four decades of experience with giving tours for esteemed groups such as the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust, Society of Architectural Historians and with the West Adams Heritage Association, Hollyhock House in Barnsdall Park, and the Los Angeles Conservancy.

Note: Moderately strenuous, brisk paced, on your feet, several mile, 3 – 4 hour walking tour.  The tour involves climbing many stairs and uphill walking.
