Description
The '72 squad was the first team in program history to win an ACC Championship and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. One of the coaching staff, Wayne Britton, got the players to sign the ball - and then donated it to the Y. Wayne went onto to be a major league scout and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Local winners must contact Waynesboro YMCA to schedule pickup of all items. All items will be available Monday, August 21st at Noon and must be picked up with valid ID by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, August 31st, 2023.
For winners outside of Waynesboro (zip 22980), winner must call Waynesboro YMCA to arrange pickup of item or pay full cost of packing & shipping item in addition to winning bid amount. All items must be picked up with valid ID or packing/shipping paid & delivery made by Thursday, August 31st, 2023.
