Artist Bio:

Beth Ann Borchers is a self-taught mixed media artist who currently lives in Dayton, Oh with her dog Gracie.

She is most recognized for the vibrant colors and bold, playful choices in her artwork.

Even though Ms Borchers grew up in the suburbs, you could always find her climbing a tree or searching the creek for crawdads or frogs. To this day she feels most alive surrounded by the elements of nature.

Ms Borchers early life forced a connection with trauma. Now that she understands the power of love, peace, and joy, she knows it’s her mission to share that and to encourage a spirit of freedom and joy.

She appreciates all things beautiful but also believes beauty is in the eye of the beholder, encouraging the viewer to find their own connection and story in her paintings. 

Alcohol inks are what brought her back to art although currently, she is fully embracing acrylic and mixed media work. It's there that she explores her happiest, most playful self. 

Ms Borchers shares these words. “Offer utter appreciation for where you are, choose to laugh, and always… always expect more from life, learning as you go!”
